Bike Rally 2010

The Northwest Firefighter Bike Rally was a big success this year. We had more than twice the bikes than we had last year and more locals attended also. All of the hotels were booked by late May. We were able to raise $812.00 to go towards new playground equipment for the kids of Republic. The Kinross Mine, which is the area’s largest employer, donated $500.00 to the event. Thanks to all of our sponsors, Weinstein Beverages in Wenatchee (Pepsi), Tripp Distributing in Colville(Budweiser), Eastside Harley in Bellevue, Hinshaws’ Honda in Auburn, K Diamond K Ranch in Republic, The Republic Drug Store, Stotts Construction, The Junction Motel in Tonasket, and Lone Pine Fruit Espresso on Hwy. 97 and thanks to Charleen Ketrenos for her generous donation of a weekend stay at the "Spirit of Curlew Lake".

Also thanks to the great bands that played this year. "Kahler", The Robin Ellis band, Jess Boleyn and Barry The One Man band. They all did an awesome job. Thanks to Steve Oswin sound and Jeff Silverman for his laser light show.
