UPCOMING EVENT TO HELP BELLEVUE FIRE LIEUTENANT FIGHT CANCER
Lt. John Fox is a 33 year veteran of the Bellevue Fire Department, currently
assigned at station 6. He is highly respected among his peers and coworkers. In
2003, John was diagnosed with kidney cancer and initially given the grim
prognosis that he would have only 6 to 18 months to live. After several
treatments he was given a clean bill of health. Since then, John has been
subjected to other forms of reoccurring cancer while continuing his treatments.
John's latest scan indicates the cancerous spots in his lungs are growing and he
is gearing up to fight this once again. His current plan includes a new,
promising treatment in Germany this October which is not covered by insurance.
His crew has initiated an effort to raise funds and offset the cost of his
treatment. Please join us in supporting a fire officer who has helped countless
others!
Current efforts include fundraisers at 2 upcoming events:
